Budhanilkantha Temple is situated at the base of the Shivapuri Hills, approximately 10 kilometers north of Kathmandu city center, Nepal.
The temple is near the entrance to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park and just a short drive from the Narayan Gopal Chowk area.
Easily accessible by taxi or local buses from major parts of Kathmandu. The drive takes around 30–40 minutes from Thamel or the airport.
Particularly vibrant during Haribodhini Ekadashi (October–November), when thousands of devotees visit the temple.
Open daily from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
