Kailash Yatra 2025 – A Journey to the Abode of Lord Shiva.

Yathra Overview
The Yathra starts off with visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Nepal, then we cross the borders to Tibet, exploring and making our way to the Holy Mount Kailash. We will explore the Holy Mount Kailash and the sacred surroundings. Some major sites we visit during this tour are Mount Kailash, Lake Manas Sarovar, Rakshasa Taal, Pashupatinath Temple and more.

09 July- Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
We assemble at Kochi Airport in the morning. Board flight to Kathmadu and reach there by evening. We get received at the airport and guided to the hotel in Kathmandu. An evening meeting will be held at 5he hotel in which the whole yathra will be briefed by the Nepal company representatives. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
10 July- Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Today we will visit some of the major attractions in Kathmandu Valley today. we’ll take a tour of a few major spiritual landmarks in Kathmandu Valley. We will visit Pashupatinath, Guhyeshwari Shaktipeeth, Swayambhunath and Jal Narayan Temple. Later, we can have a brief shopping time when we shall get some supplies for the Yathra if necessary. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
11 July- Day 03: Kathmandu to Ghattekhola
We’re going to drive to Ghattekhola in the morning. The settlement of Ghattekhola is located at Langtang, in Kathmandu’s northern area. We will arrive in Ghattekhola after a 7–8-hour drive through the Pasang Lhamu Highway. Spend the night at a guest house.
12 July- Day 04: Ghattekhola to Gyirong
Following breakfast, we will set out for the Rasuwagadhi-Kerung border or the friendship bridge at the Nepal – Tibet border. Immigration to Tibet will be done here. In about one and half hours depending on immigration, we will reach Gyirong (also known as Gyirung), the first town in Tibet. Rest at the guesthouse.
13 July- Day 05: Gyirong to Saga
The route takes us smoothly to the ttlement of Saga by ascending and descending the passes of Thong La and La Lung. We will be able to witness Lake Peiku Tso and the Tibetan nomadic settlements on the way. Yaks and sheep will be grazing along. Reach Saga by evening. Settle to the hotel and stay overnight.
